Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has backed Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to turns things at Old Trafford amid United’s poor form this season.

So far, United have lost 4 of our last five games, and have only won 2 out of 5 Premier League games this season, taking just 6 points from a possible 15.

“When in a top club you are always one loss away from a crisis,” said Vincent Kompany at his pre-match press conference when asked for his thoughts on Erik ten Hag.

“That doesn’t just have to be [Manchester] United – it is the same in every top club.

“One thing this man has demonstrated is that he is extremely capable.”

The Burnley boss added: “There is no doubting that. All the rest that is happening in the outside world, he can’t control that.”

The United team will be looking to bounce back when we visit Turf Moor to face Kompany’s Clarets, who are 19th in the standings.
