Manchester United not on the same level with Bayern Munich – Michael Ballack claims

Bayern Munich legend Michael Ballack has claimed that Bayern Munich should have beaten Manchester United convincingly by a bigger margin, and insists both clubs are not at the same level.

The Bavarians beat United 4–3 in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and Ballack feels Bayern are the superior team.

He said: “Bayern left a mixed impression. Man United were not on the same level, although they started the match well.

“Bayern should have won by a bigger margin, but the positive thing is that they reacted well to every goal.”
