‘Weak mentality’ – Manchester United star slammed for refusing to leave the club despite lack of playing time

Manchester United fan and Youtuber Mark Goldbridge has slammed Scott McTominay for staying at the club, rather than leave for more playing opportunities.

He went further to blame the player’s “weak mentality” as the reason why he refused to leave in the summer just like with former United teammate Fred.

He wrote on X: “Fred left because Ten Hag told him he wasn’t part of his plans and he wanted to play.

“McTominay was told the same and stayed. That’s why Fred would be more useful right now. Mentality and desire to play.”
