‘Overrated!’ – Erik ten Hag urged to drop struggling Manchester United star. He earns big money
Some section of Manchester United fans want forward Marcus Rashford benched in subsequent games after his poor stats in our recent win over Burnley.
The Englishman had fewer (46) touches than goalkeeper Andre Onana (48) against the Clarets.
Onana also made more passes (25 vs 24), while Rashford failed to register a single shot on target.
Some United fans have now called Erik ten Hag to drop the forward. See some reactions below:
Nelson: “Marcus Rashford is in danger of being one of the most overrated footballers in recent history. Casual, wasteful, poor decision making, streaky player. No shots on target against a shite Burnley side. Only chance for him is if he leaves this toxic United club.”
Reds: “Fix this dead team @ManUtd we are being possessed by Burnley like we are Luton or Cardiff City. We are too poor please do something ha ha and Rashford needs to be benched because he’s finished and needs to learn”.
Shaun Irvine: “Marcus Rashford needs to be dropped, ever since he signed his new deal he doesn’t look bothered, you’ve got Garnacho on the bench who is hungry to play and work hard for his team.”
KOT OCS: “Eric ten Hag favouritism on Rashford is worrying, never take him off and he keeps on playing shit and Garnacho a young talented player sits on the bench”.
Man70: “Bench rashford for the next game and start martial on the left wing”.
Rashford has struggled this season, scoring just once in the Premier League.
