Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has urged his Manchester United teammates to maintain high standards after securing a morale-boosting win over Burnley at the weekend.
After a series of poor results, the team returned back to winning ways with a 1-0 win over the Clarets.
In a rally call, Dalot has beckoned on the team to maintain our cohesive style till the end of the season.
Diogo Dalot spoke to MUTV after the final whistle and said: “I think today was massive. Apart from the three points, I think the clean sheet brings us a little bit of extra confidence to go to the next games, which we needed after the last few games.
“We conceded a lot of goals and this has to build a foundation now for the next game. I think we were a proper compact team, aggressive, defending the box and everybody into each other.
“This is the standard we need to have for the rest of the season.”
