‘He will score goals’ – Gary Lineker backs Manchester United striker

BBC presenter Gary Lineker has expressed confidence that Rasmus Hojlund will “score goals” for Manchester United.

The Danish international has hit the back of the net just once in his first 3 appearances since arriving from Atalanta in the summer.

Lineker has claimed there will be many more to come:

“I have watched him in his first two or three games and he has only scored one goal, against Bayern, but he looks to me like he will score goals. I like his movement.”

Hojlund is still a pretty raw, young talent, as we saw against Burnley at the weekend. However, Lineker claims he has seen enough quality from the 20-year-old, and feels he is a good fit for Erik ten Hag’s style of play.
