Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag reveals why Garnacho didn’t play against Burnley
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed why youngster Alejandro Garnacho missed the game against Burnley.
“He [Alejandro Garnacho] was in against [Bayern] Munich and I thought our team was playing very well,” explained Erik ten Hag when asked about the youngster’s absence in the 1-0 win over Burnley.
“So I wouldn’t change that tonight because this game was a demand to keep that organisation. That’s why I wouldn’t change.
“I don’t want to say if it is the right decision or wrong decision, but again there was a moment that was not on our side. I wanted to avoid that and keep this team on because they did well.”
Garnacho has been outstanding when called upon since he broke into Ten Hag’s starting XI last season.
The youngster will be hoping to be involved when we play Crystal Palace this weekend.
