“It’s not easy to play against a player like him” – Crystal Palace defender worried about this Man United star

Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen has admitted he is wary of the threat posed by Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Andersen who plays alongside Rasmus Hojlund at international level for Denmark, has been impressed with the way the striker has started at Old Trafford.

Andersen said: “He’s a young lad with a good character, a lot of energy and really good attributes.

“He’s quick, he’s strong and he has a lot of energy. It’s not easy to play against a player like him and I think his start has been really good. He scored last week so I’m really happy for him.”

Andersen also said he would relish playing  against Hojlund, and backs himself to do well.

He added: “It’s going to be fun to play against him! Hopefully he’ll score a lot of goals for our national team… but I think I can handle him in the games we’re going to play against each other!”

Hojlund has already shown what he is capable of doing, with some impressive performances in his few games as a Man United player.
