Manchester United ease to fourth round of EFL Cup with win over Crystal Palace

Manchester United commenced our Carabao Cup title defence in commanding style on Tuesday night, with a 3-0 third-round win over Premier League side Crystal Palace.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial secured the victory at Old Trafford as United advanced to the fourth round of the competition.

United won the competition last term in what was our first major trophy in six years. Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag will be hopeful of another cup victory this season as well.

Meanwhile, United face Crystal Palace again in the Premier League this weekend as we aim to secure back-to-back wins over the Eagles.
