According to Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Sergio Reguilon’s loan move to Manchester United could be turned permanent during next summer’s transfer window.

Despite only being signed as a cover for injured duo Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, the player is said to be happy with the club.

The loan deal has a break clause in January included in it, but the player is happy at Old Trafford.

“He loves the club, and loves Manchester. He probably needed that, to be motivated again, and to be part of a club where he’s in the plans again,” Romano told The United Stand.

Reguilon has been impressive in the last three games he has started for the club.
