Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has expressed delight with Harry Maguire’s performance in our EFL Cup win over Crystal Palace.

The Englishman who partnered Raphael Varane in the game looked assured in his performance.

The Red Devils boss had described Maguire’s performance as good and solid.

“He was very solid, just as you can expect from Harry Maguire,” said Ten Hag.

Maguire was linked with a move away from the club during the summer. Hopefully, he’d get more chances to impress the Old Trafford boss and revive his career at the club.
