David de Gea sends message to Manchester United player

Former Manchester United goalie David de Gea has sent a message to former United teammate Lisandro Martinez over his recent injury blow.

The Argentine will undergo further surgery to fix a recurring metatarsal injury that has plagued him since last week.

De Gea who left the club in the summer sent an encouraging message to him. He wrote on Instagram: “Stay strong bro”.

Meanwhile, De Gea’s replacement Andre Onana has been on the spotlight since the start of the campaign. The summer signing from Inter Milan hasn’t lived up to expectations so far.
