‘He has nowhere to hide’ – Warning sent to Ten Hag ahead of Galatasaray clash
Former Newcastle United manager, Alan Pardew has warned United boss Erik ten Hag that he has ‘nowhere to hide’ after signing Antony, Casemiro and Mount for huge sums.
Alan Pardew has told Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag to be ready to face criticms after his huge outlay on signings.
United have endured a disappointing start to the season, losing four of our seven Premier League games so far.
Speaking on talkSPORT radio, Alan Pardew said: “The question marks at Manchester United have got to be around the signings of the players, the choice of signings and what that club is.
“Style can be put to bed if you don’t have the right players and Erik ten Hag has been in charge of the players coming in — Antony, Casemiro, Mason Mount — all coming into the team.
“They’re his players and there’s nowhere to hide when they’re his players. I’ve been there [as manager], I know that, so when one or two of those players are failing it’s a massive problem.”
While the players continue to be blamed for our poor form this season, there are question marks being raised over Ten Hag’s credentials to manage the club.
