‘They will continue to suffer’ – Alan Shearer reveals when Manchester United will get things right
Premier League legendary striker Alan Shearer, insists Manchester United will continue to struggle until the club’s takeover is completed.
The pundit feels the uncertainty surrounding the club’s takeover will continue to affect the team’s performances negatively.
“I’m not saying it’s all their fault,” he said on The Rest Is Football podcast about the Man United owners.
“Because it shouldn’t really affect what goes on the pitch, but at whatever level you’re at, whatever happens at the very top of an organisation always drip-feeds itself down on to the shop floor.“
“This is what is happening at Manchester United and it will continue to happen until the very top [the Glazer family] sort themselves out.
“Whether that’s selling the club or whatever it is. Is it for sale? Is it not for sale? Until that gets sorted out, I think they will suffer and continue to suffer.”
