Ten Hag: We are all in this together
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has blamed ‘mental errors’ made by his players for Manchester United’s embarrassing defeat to Galatasaray on Tuesday evening.
Despite taking the lead twice during the game at Old Trafford, United eventually lost 3-2 as a result of poor defending.
Speaking about the defeat to TNT Sports, Ten Hag was keen to call out the mistakes his players made on the night.
He said: “The mental errors we make, you cannot allow them at this level. You get punished.
“This is difficult to control. We are all in this together. We were twice up and in control of the game. We expect more together.”
The defeat against the Turkish side leaves United bottom of our group with no points after two games played.
