Two former Man Utd stars hail one Manchester United player after Champions League defeat to Galatasaray

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has hailed the performance of Rasmus Hojlund as the striker scored a brace in our 3-2 home defeat against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Speaking at half-time on TNT Sports, Rio Ferdinand raved about the Dane’s quality and believes he could be the real deal.

He said: “I love Hojlund’s desire to get in there, fantastic to get on the end of that.”

But Ferdinand wasn’t the only ex-player praising the Danish striker after his goals.

Speaking on MUTV during the game, former red Dion Dublin was also full of praise for Hojlund.

“Like a centre-forward should, he gets in a good position then ‘bam’. It’s a really difficult header.

“When it’s coming at pace you’ve got to be careful how you head it. Brilliant finish.”
