Why Manchester United will not sack Erik ten Hag

According to The Guardian, Manchester United have no intention of sacking manager Erik ten Hag at the moment despite a poor start to the season.
The Dutchman’s position at the club is ‘secure for the foreseeable future’ as he still retains the trust and the backing of the United chiefs.
The club hierarchy believes the team’s struggles this season have been caused by injuries, with as much as 12 players out on the sidelines.
The 53-year-old is seen as the right manager for the long term and the club believes he can transform the side’s fortunes.
