‘The criticism has gone too far’ – Man Utd legend David Beckham defends Manchester United star amid heavy criticisms

Manchester United legend David Beckham has leapt to the defence of United defender Harry Magure who has been heavily criticised since moving to the club.

The former Red Devils midfielder has urged Maguire to focus on his game rather on his critics.

Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, David Beckham said: “The criticism of Harry Maguire has gone too far.

“Harry has to keep doing what he’s doing. He’s got to focus on football, which he does.

“He’s a good lad — he’s had a great career. Has the criticism got too much? I think it has.”
