Latest update on Qatari investor’s move to buy Manchester United
According to The Times, interested buyer Sheikh Jassim will not be increasing his £5 billion offer to buy Manchester United.
Further details of the report claim that the Qatari investor is not concerned by rival bidder, Sir James Ratcliffe’s latest move to acquire stakes at Old Trafford that would give him control.
The British billionaire has recently made an £1.5 billion offer for a 25 per cent stake, which will keep the Glazers in charge of the club.
However, Jassim is only interested in total purchase and control of the club from the Glazers, and isn’t deterred.
