Manchester United fan wants Harry Maguire to start more games

A Manchester United fan has called for Harry Maguire to be instated into the United starting XI.

The Englishman was easily among the best performers in the 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday.

He was solid defensively and also provided the all-important assist for Scott McTominay’s winning goal.

And some United fans are very impressed with Maguire, despite the overwhelming criticisms he’s faced over the past couple of seasons.

In fact, one fan wants him to start more games now.

Man United fan SebC tweeted: “Maguire still in the England squad, whilst Manchester United languish in a patronymic position on the league table.

“He’s United’s best CB after Varane. No wonder they can’t defend properly without Maguire.”
