According to Fabrizio Romano via CaughtOffside, Manchester United are keen on signing highly-rated Palmeiras midfielder Luis Guilherme.
The 17-year-old Brazilian sensation is also being monitored by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, and other elite clubs are ready to rival United’s move for the player.
Speaking on his exclusive column, Romano said: “Bayern Munich were among the clubs in attendance for Brazilian gem Luis Guilherme two days ago. He’s very talented and Bayern were there to keep an eye on him.
“Let’s see if they’re going to bid for him, but for sure they are among four or five clubs interested, along with Manchester United, as reported yesterday.”
Reports from Romano claim that the United hierarchy are trying to improve their scouting of South American talents, and the teenage midfielder is certainly one of the best talents in the region.
It is expected that Palmeiras will demand a similar fee worth £60m which Real Madrid paid for Endrick if they are to sell Guilherme.
