Manchester United legend David Beckham has revealed that he knows the right people to take over as Manchester United new owners, and has called for more stability at the club.
Following up on the sale of the club, offers have been received from Qatari Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, but the Glazer family are yet to accept any.
Whether or not the Glazers will actually sell the club any time soon is yet to be seen, but the former England and Man United star wants the right people that would take the club to the top – back where we belong.
“We are one of the, if not the biggest club in the world. We want stability,” he told Sky Sports.
“I think that’s the most important thing.
“We all have our favourites of who we feel needs to run the club and look after the club to take it back to where it belongs.
“In our eyes, in the fans eyes, we are number one. We want to be back at the top and I believe I know the right people to do that so we’ll see!”
