Sweden boss raises huge concern over Manchester United defender Victor Lindelöf
Swedish national team coach Janne Andersson has raised huge concerns over the current fitness state of Manchester United defender, Victor Lindelöf.
Andersson feels there could be major problems concerning Lindelöf’s fitness, but will seek medical assessment to find out more about the player’s fitness struggles.
“I have had contact with Lindelof. Hopefully, there won’t be any major problems, but I don’t dare say that for sure,” said Andersson on Monday, quoted by Aftonbladet.
“I do not have the medical team’s assessment, tonight I will find out exactly how it is.”
Sweden play Moldova in a friendly fixture on 12 October before facing off against Belgium in a EURO qualifier tie on 16 October.
Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag will no doubt hope that Lindelöf is rested for at least the friendly tie considering the injury problems that United continue to have at Old Trafford.
