England boss Gareth Southgate gives his reason for excluding Man United star from latest England squad

England manager Gareth Southgate insists Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has not done enough at club level to warrant a recall to the England national team.
The player’s last appearance for England came in the World Cup semi-final defeat to France last December.
Mount has struggled for form and fitness since his £55m move to Old Trafford from Chelsea.
“Physically he’s getting back up to a level,” Southgate said.
“He’s been an important player for us and we like him a lot.
“But I didn’t think he’d done enough to be ahead of the others at this moment in time.”
Mount was unavailable in March, June and September due to injuries, but he returned to the United team in good time for this latest international break only to be overlooked.
