Report: Billionaire tables improved offer for Manchester United

According to Bloomberg, Jim Ratcliffe has now emerged as the frontrunner to buy Manchester United.

Further details of the report claim that the British billionaire has submitted an improved offer which has given him an edge over a rival proposal from Qatari investors.

It is believed that negotiations are ongoing between Jim Ratcliffe and the Glazer family representatives who are keen to find a suitable agreement.

Meanwhile, Ratcliffe’s offer is to buy a minority stake at the club which may not go down well with the United fans compared to Sheikh Jassim’s camp who are only interested in buying 100% of the club.
