Two senior Man United players feature in ‘secret friendly’ win over Barnsley

Manchester United stars Antony and Donny van de Beek were both involved in a ‘secret friendly’ at Carrington against Barnsley on Tuesday.

The United team was made up of fringe players and those building their fitness level. The team won 3-0.

Antony was involved to help build his fitness level, having missed over two weeks of training last month, while  Van de Beek, who has played just 21 minutes for United this season across two substitute appearances also played.

The Dutchman who was expected to leave the club in the summer scored in the friendly win.
