Erik ten Hag makes new decision on Scott McTominay’s Manchester United future

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has ruled out the exit of Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay in January.
The Scotland international was linked with a move to West Ham and Bayern Munich, but the club eventually opted to keep the player.
The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order since the arrivals of Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat.
Reports from the Daily Star claim Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag has demanded the club keep him until the end of the campaign at least.
McTominay may have given his chances of earning more playing time under Ten Hag a huge boost last week when he came off the bench to score two brace in United’s win over Brentford.
The Scotland international came through the club’s academy, and has made 215 appearances since his debut in 2017.
McTominay’s contract runs until 2025 but the Old Trafford club have the option to extend by another year.
