Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly has ruled out the possibility of Manchester United finishing in the top-four this season

The Frenchman named Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool as sure bets for the Champions League spots.

However, the former Chelsea skipper claims he has no idea which club among the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United will secure the final spot for Champions League qualification final.

Asked to his name his favourites for Champions League qualification by Gambling Zone, Desailly said:

“I’ll mention Arsenal, City, and Liverpool. All of those teams operate like diesel – slow, steady power. I have no idea who else will finish in the top four, but I’m waiting for a surprise.”
