Manchester United striker gives worrying injury update ahead of Premier League clash with Sheffield United
Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has issued an injury concern after being targeted by San Marino players during an European qualifiers match on Tuesday.
The £72million signing had a back problem that saw him miss our first three games of the season, and has expressed concerns about a recurrence.
The 20-year-old has made a blistering start to his Red Devils career, with three goals in six starts for his new club.
However, after being on the receiving end of some reckless tackling from the San Marino players, he is now a doubt for Saturday’s match against Sheffield United.
“I still haven’t seen how my back is doing. Right now, I feel it’s okay, but I don’t know how I’ll be tomorrow morning,” he said.
“People know that I’ve had issues with my back before, which kept me out. So, it’s a frustrating situation I’m in now,” an irritated Rasmus Højlund concluded.
