‘That’s where we deserve to be’: Die-hard Manchester United fan admits the club are no longer a top 6 side

Die-hard Manchester United fan Mark Goldbridge has slammed the club’s decline in recent years.

He went further to say that United are not a top-six, side after our disappointing results this season.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Mark Goldbridge said: “Manchester United are tenth in the league, and I think that’s where we deserve to be. It’s hard to say that, but there are nine teams better than us.

“I believe Crystal Palace are above Man United, they beat us, and Aston Villa, Brighton, Newcastle United and certainly Tottenham are all better. And that’s the challenge Man United have right now.

“With other teams around us getting better as well and more hungry, I think Man United are almost on cruise control at the moment. But the cold, harsh facts, at the moment, Man United are not a ‘top six’ side.”
