‘He’s an example for all of us’ – Erik ten Hag hails Manchester United star far his impressive attitude

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has hailed Scott McTominay for his impressive display in our narrow win over Sheffield United on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the Red Devils’ Premier League meeting with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday, Ten Hag hailed the attitude of the Scotland international as he was awarded a starting berth ahead of Mason Mount.
The Scotsman justified his selection and repaid Ten Hag’s faith in him as he scored the opener against the Blades.
“Football is about competition. Scott [McTominay] played some very good games, but especially the last one. He is an example for all of us. He didn’t complain about being a substitute, he came in and scored two goals. That’s the attitude I expect,” the former Ajax manager told MUTV prior to kick off.
Manchester United defeated Sheffield United 2-1 to move to 8th on the table with 15 points.
