Manchester United have received a massive boost as FC Copenhagen are set to be without one of their key players, ahead of tonight’s crucial Champions League clash at Old Trafford.

According to Fotball Skanalen, a Danish outlet, Copenhagen striker Cornelius will miss the game due to injury.

“Andreas Cornelius will not travel to Manchester, but it has been planned for a long time and he is not injured,”  Copenhagen coach Jacob Neestrup commented.

“We believe it is necessary to exclude him from this match to ensure that his comeback is as good as possible.”

Meanwhile, this is a must-win game for United after losing our two opening matches against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.
