Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the club hierarchy is in dialogue with the FA over Alejandro Garnacho’s social media post debacle.
The Argentinian youngster’s use of gorilla emojis in a social media post celebrating United teammate Onana’s heroics in the win over FC Copenhagen may likely see him banned.
Despite, Onana has thrown his support for Garnacho, but unfortunately, that’s not enough for the FA to back off.
Red Devils boss insists the club is behind the youngster on the issue regardless what the outcome is.
“Not in this moment,” said Erik ten Hag when asked if there’s any fresh updates on Alejandro Garnacho’s potential match ban.
“We are talking with the FA, what you see, I can confirm that and I want to emphasise we are together, we are united, you saw that with the post of Andre [Onana].”
