Manchester United stars Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Andre Onana have been nominated for the Club’s October Player of the Month award.

United began the month with a disappointing 3-2 home defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League before a dramatic 2-1 league win over Brentford at Old Trafford.

Following the international break, the club secured two close wins over Sheffield United and Copenhagen.

Then, United rounded off the month with a 3-0 loss in the Manchester derby.

Maguire provided the assist for McTominay’s winner against Brentford before a man of the match display in the win over Sheffield United. He then scored the winning goal against Copenhagen in the Champions League.

McTominay, on the other hand, has surprisingly been United’s main scoring threat in the final third. The Scot scored in the dramatic 2-1 wins over Brentford and Sheffield United.

Onana made a couple of key saves in the win over Sheffield before saving a last-gasp penalty against Copenhagen which ensured we picked up our first win of the Champions League campaign. The Cameroonian also kept the scoreline at a minimum with seven saves to prevent a heavy defeat against Manchester City.
