Manchester United legend in ‘advanced talks’ to become manager

According to the Athletic via Metro, Phil Neville is in ‘advanced talks’ to become the new head coach of Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers.
The Manchester United legend was sacked as manager of MLS side Inter Miami in June and is now set to become the new manager of Portland Timbers.
Neville, who previously managed England Women, enjoyed a stellar playing career and won countless trophies under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
The 46-year-old, brother of Gary Neville, made a total of 386 appearances for the Red Devils between 1994 and 2005.
