According to Spanish outlet ED via GOAL, former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is in talks to join Spanish club Real Betis.
De Gea has been without a club since leaving Manchester United after having spent almost 13 years in England.
Real Betis are keen on signing De Gea in January as a replacement for their current number one goalkeeper Rui Silva, who is being linked with an exit from the club this winter.
The report adds Real Betis will use the “Isco formula” on De Gea, which is a short-term agreement on reduced terms intended to be advantageous to both sides.
However, Real Betis will only complete the signing of De Gea in January if sufficient funds are raised by the Seville-based club as they are currently over their pay cap.
