Bruno Fernandes scored a goal in Portugal’s 2-0 win over Iceland in their Euro 2024 qualifier game on Sunday (November 19).
After the game, he received he got an interesting gift from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He told Record: “The Icelandic coach says he spoke to Solskjaer, who had sent me a hug.
“Everyone wants to score. Everyone wants to be important, to assist. I don’t like talking (about me) individually. It’s not my focus.
“I’m happy to score goals and assist. It means I’m helping. It’s up to me to serve my team-mates. We have a lot of quality up front and, with that quality, it’s easier to make assists.”
