Thomas Tuchel sends warning to Manchester United

Bayern Munich have nothing to play for when Bayern Munich visit Old Trafford for a Champions League final group stage tie with Manchester United.

It’s a must-win game for United, while Bayern have qualified as group leaders.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has warned that his team will be gunning for the victory.

Speaking to the reporters on Tuesday, Thomas Tuchel said: “If you sign up to play for Bayern Munich, you sign up to give 100 per cent every day.

“Otherwise, it’ s not possible. When you wear the Bayern shirt, you remember that we behave like champions every day otherwise we cannot be champions.

“Yes, we don’t have the full pressure of the table but then we make our own pressure, have our own demands and we want to keep the momentum going.

“The results from before, they simply do not matter. I hope we can match the mentality, enthusiasm and hunger Manchester United will show tomorrow.”
