Real Madrid want Manchester United star in January

According to a report on Daily Mail, Real Madrid are interested in signing Manchester United defender Raphael Varane in January.
The 30 year old Frenchman joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in 2021.
Real Madrid are facing an injury crisis in defence after David Alaba underwent surgery after rupturing his ACL in his left knee during their 4-1 victory over Villarreal on Sunday.
Eder Militao is also out of action after tearing his ACL back in August, leaving Antonio Rudiger and Nacho as the only remaining fit central defenders.
Real Madrid are hoping to solve the injury crisis in defence by signing Varane when the transfer window opens in January.
During his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, Varane won 18 trophies – including four Champions Leagues – before joining United in a £34m deal.
Varane hasn’t played much football for Manchester United this season with Erik ten Hag preferring the likes of Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and veteran Jonny Evans over the World Cup winner.
Varane has been limited to just 430 minutes of action in United’s opening 17 games this season.
