Erik ten Hag sends warning to Manchester United fans calling for him to be sacked
Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has sent a warning to fans calling for him to be sacked.
According to Ten Hag, Manchester United overachieved last season by finishing third in the Premier League.
Ten Hag also believes Manchester United are underperforming this season due to injuries.
“We can’t feel sorry for ourselves,” said Ten Hag after Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat at West Ham.
“We have to take responsibility. If you are playing for Manchester United, we have to do it together and everyone has to be accountable.
“In 2023, we won a cup, we played the FA Cup final, we were third in the league. There were highlights but we were overperforming. In this moment, we are underperforming. We have to be calm, stick together, stick to the plan and do it together.”
