Sancho makes instant impact at Dortmund. See what Ten Hag has to say
Jadon Sancho made a return to Borussia Dortmund this month, on a short-term loan deal.
The winger made his second debut for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday against Darmstadt.
The Englishman came off the bench in the 55th minute and registered an assist for Marco Reus goal.
Speaking before the match, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said the club had few issues with Sancho.
“Jadon has no problem with discipline” Watzke said, “I don’t know who thought that up. The lad has a bit of a problem with his internal clock and can be a bit late from time to time.”
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Tottenham, Ten Hag sent his warm wishes to Sancho.
“I hope he’s doing well, so I wish him the best of luck,” Ten Hag said.
“That’s it. I hope he’s doing well and he will be a success.”
Sancho scored 50 goals and assisted a further 64 during his first spell with Dortmund, which prompted Manchester United to spend big money on the winger.
