Don’t dream of winning this trophy – Ten Hag tells Manchester United fans

Manchester United reached two Cup finals last season – the FA Cup and League Cup.
United won the League Cup, but lost to Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup.
Man United boss Erik ten Hag has said he’s taking the FA Cup step by step this time around, and has urged fans not to dream yet.
Urging fans and the media to focus only on the game, Ten Hag told reporters before playing Newport: “I think [at] Manchester United you have to win trophies at the end of the day.
“And of course, Champions League is the most important with the Premier League. But then every trophy, every competition where you take part of, you have to win and that should be the mentality in this club.
“But in this moment, don’t dream of that [winning two trophies in two seasons] and think about the next game.
“100 per cent focus on that and not thinking about winning the FA Cup at this moment.”
