Same old, same old – Alan Shearer slams Man United star for display against Nottingham Forest

Casemiro’s 89th minute goal sealed the victory for Manchester United away from home, to send the Red Devils through to the quarter-finals.
Premier League icon, Alan Shearer singled out Antony for criticism during Manchester United’s 1-0 FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
Antony has been having a poor season, which has seen pundits criticise him a lot.
“He might be disappointed he’s coming off but he hasn’t done anywhere near enough to warrant staying on the pitch tonight,” Alan Shearer told the BBC of Antony.
“Same old, same old, get the ball, come inside, pass it to someone else or have a shot. It’s not enough when you cost that much money.”
On Manchester United’s progression to the next round, Shearer added: “Manchester United haven’t played well but cup football is all about getting yourselves into the next round.”
