Manchester City boss tells Barcelona to hire this manager wanted by Manchester United

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly recommended that Barcelona should consider Roberto De Zerbi, who is also a target for Manchester United, as their next head coach.
Following Xavi’s announcement that he will depart from Barcelona this summer, Barcelona are exploring options for his replacement. With Barcelona poised to concede the La Liga title to Real Madrid, who are leading by eight points, the search for a new manager has intensified.
Among the candidates being considered by Barcelona are Hansi Flick and Thomas Tuchel, both associated with Bayern Munich. However, Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta, sought advice from Pep Guardiola, who suggested Brighton’s De Zerbi for the role, as per Mundo Deportivo.
According to MEN Sport, De Zerbi is also being considered by Sir Jim Ratcliffe as a potential manager for Manchester United, in the event of Erik ten Hag’s departure.
A significant hurdle for Barcelona in pursuing De Zerbi is his release clause at Brighton, which the club is hesitant to meet. Brighton, having secured De Zerbi’s talents, would require a compelling offer to release him, especially given his rising stature.
De Zerbi, who was relatively unknown in England upon his arrival to replace Graham Potter at Brighton, has quickly proven his capabilities, guiding the team to their first-ever European competition berth.
