Currently on loan at Getafe, the 22-year-old has shown commendable performance, netting eight goals and assisting five in 26 matches across all competitions this season.
Despite Manchester United’s new minority shareholder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, hinting at a possible reintegration for Greenwood at Old Trafford, rumors and a recent report suggest a permanent departure this summer is still the most probable scenario.

While Barcelona has apparently stepped out of the race for Greenwood, Getafe has shown interest in retaining the English forward beyond this season.
Journalist Matteo Moretto reported for Football Espana that Atletico Madrid is interested in Greenwood. However, Manchester United’s asking price might pose a challenge for any potential deal.
Moretto’s report highlighted that although Manchester United hasn’t fully decided Greenwood’s future, especially with new ownership and potentially a new manager on the horizon, Greenwood himself is looking to leave, preferably to continue his career in Spain. The main obstacle remains his transfer fee, as Manchester United aim to maximize their return.
Manchester United reportedly value Greenwood, who has one year left on his contract, at around £40m.
Greenwood, who has scored 35 goals and provided 12 assists in 129 appearances for United, has been absent from the team since early 2022 due to being arrested on multiple charges, including suspicion of rape and assault. Though the charges were dropped last February, his future at the club remains uncertain.
