Kobbie Mainoo unhappy as Manchester United draw Liverpool

Manchester United have disappointed their critics, as the Red Devils nearly snatched all three points against Liverpool.
Liverpool were overwhelming favourites for this game, and took the lead in the first-half after dominating at Old Trafford.
The second-half was a different ball game, and Bruno Fernandes made sure he punished Jarell Quansah’s error immediately after the restart.
Kobbie Mainoo made it 2-1 for Manchester United in the 67th minute after a sublime strike from the edge of the box.
Mohamed Salah converted from penalty spot in the 84th minute to level the scores.
Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, has said the Manchester United players are disappointed with the result, as they were close to getting the three points.
Speaking to BBC MOTD, Kobbie Mainoo said: “It left us disappointed. We worked hard to get into the game after a tough first half.
“We have given it away, ultimately we wanted the three points and it’s a big game for us coming to the end of the season.
“To not come away with three points is tough to take.
“Again penalties have cost us, but we have to keep on working ironing out these details that keep costing us and keep trying to get better.”
On his goal, he said: “When Aaron Wan-Bissaka gave me the ball I thought the keeper wouldn’t think I would shoot so I laid it off and it felt good – luckily it went in.”
