I didn’t feel loved – Brazilian midfielder reveals why he left Manchester United

Former Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has appeared to aim a dig at Manchester United.
Andreas Pereira has claimed he ‘didn’t feel loved’ at Manchester United, which first made him go on loan to Brazilian side Flamengo.
The 28-year-old who is now a key player for Fulham, has revealed what really happened.
“I wanted to play,” Pereira said when asked about his desire to leave Manchester United.
“After Covid, I wanted to play.
“I was going crazy. I wanted to show I was good enough. I was very close to joining Everton.
“Suddenly, my father called me and told me I had never played in Brazil. I was thinking, ‘Where do we go then?’ – then the president of Flamengo called my dad and said if he wants to come, he can come.
“I said let’s go to Flamengo. Everyone at United said I was crazy, that I would stay in Brazil and I would never come back to Europe. [But] I wanted to play in Brazil.
“I wanted to feel loved. I didn’t feel the love I thought I should get. I wanted to feel the love, from my own people, be close to my family and enjoy my football.”
Man United made a very big mistake by letting Andreas Pereira leave the Red Devil , he is one of the best midfielders in the Epl to-date, he is representing the mighty Brazilian national team and a regular at Fulham Man United should consider making a move for him he is more matured and experienced at the moment, he can partner very well with Mainoo and Masson , anyway it’s up to the recruitment team to decide.
