I’m open to football – Former Chelsea manager sends message to Manchester United
Mauricio Pochettino is currently without a job after departing Chelsea at the end of the season.
Pochettino recently made a return to Stamford Bridge for the Soccer Aid charity game.
Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with the Manchester United job, as rumours continue to claim that Erik ten Hag will be sacked.
Asked about his future after managing the World XI in the Soccer Aid charity match against England, Pochettino told talkSPORT: “I have full energy and I think we [Chelsea] finished really well.
“Now we just wait and see what happens. In football you never know, things can happen – today, nothing but tomorrow can appear and any opportunity, we are open to listen.”
Amid links with Manchester United, Pochettino was pressed on whether he would be willing to return to the Premier League – having already managed English sides Chelsea, Tottenham and Southampton as well as Chelsea – Pochettino nodded, grinned and said: “Open to football, we’re open to football.”
