Manchester United in shock move to sell this key player

Reports are linking Manchester United with a shock summer transfer move to sell midfielder Scott McTominay.
McTominay, 27, rose through the ranks at Old Trafford, and looked destined to leave Manchester United last summer.
McTominay had fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United a season before, and West Ham were interested in signing him, but saw a £30m bid rejected.
McTominay won back his place last season, as he made 43 appearances in all competitions and scored 10 goals.
Interestingly, Scott McTominay who started the FA Cup final against Manchester City, is now being linked with a summer transfer move to Galatasaray.
The vice-chairman of the Turkish club has said talks are ongoing.
Ibrahim Hatipoglu told CNN Turk: “We are interested in a player from the Premier League and Manchester United.
“There is nothing more natural than the high cost of this. There are discussions regarding his transfer fee. For us, the total cost, including transfer fees and player receivables [salary], is important at the decision point.
“Once the negotiations with both the club and the player are completed, the cost becomes apparent.”
Speaking more directly, he said, via Haber Sarı Kirmizi, that Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojberg is also a target, but talks with McTominay is more concrete.
“McTominay’s transfer is being discussed,” said Hatipoglu.
“Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a good player, he has many suitors, he wants to see all options.”
