Ex-Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has finally gotten a club, one year after leaving Manchester United.

David De Gea has accepted a proposal to sign for Fiorentina as a free agent a year after leaving Manchester United upon the expiry of his contract.

De Gea, who’s now 33, will undergo a medical in Italy in the coming days.

De Gea is expected to sign a short-term contract till 2025, with the option to extend for another year.

De Gea considerably reduced his salary demand and is all set to earn €2 million (£1.6m/$2m) per season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The veteran goalkeeper joined United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and went on to make 545 appearances for the Premier League giants – winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, two Carabao Cups and a Europa League title.
